Why attend the UK SPF Plenary?
Recent work by Ofcom has focused on exploring alternative wireless technologies, aiming to support the growing demand for connectivity in diverse applications. In preparation for the upcoming plenary, discussions will focus on recent advancements in spectrum policy and emerging telecommunications technologies, highlighting the evolving role of spectrum in driving innovation.
The agenda will also explore the alignment of current technologies with future applications to maximize the efficient use of spectrum. These pressing topics require a broad perspective from industry, policymakers, and stakeholders. As frequency bands become increasingly congested and debates over interference span multiple technology sectors, understanding future spectrum demand and the necessary regulation to future-proof connectivity solutions requires a global outlook to develop effective, long-term solutions.
In addition to the above, we will also hear from the UK SPF Steering Board Chair and Cluster Chairs.
