On 04 May we hosted our second in-person flagship Justice and Emergency Services Reception. Please note that this event is limited to one individual ticket per company
Last year the Justice & Emergency Services Programme re-launched its flagship drinks reception, the first one back since the pandemic, with over 120 attendees from across the Public Sector and industry, with keynote addresses from Gina Gill, Chief Digital and Information Officer at the Ministry of Justice and, Martin Hewitt, Chair of the National Police Chiefs' Council.
This year Rt. Hon Chris Philp, Minister for Policing has delivered a keynote speech, and we also heard from techUK Vice President, Nicola Hodson, Chief Executive, IBM.
The reception is an opportunity to hear from leading blue light and justice system stakeholders and participate in informal discussions around the digital transformation of public safety and justice. Confirmed attendance includes techUK members and Public Sector representatives from; the Home Office, Crown Prosecution Service, Police Digital Service, Metropolitan Police, Police forces, the Ministry of Justice and more. Georgie joined techUK as the Justice and Emergency Services (JES) Programme Manager in March 2020, then becoming Head of Programme in January 2022.
Georgie leads techUK's engagement and activity across our blue light and criminal justice services, engaging with industry and stakeholders to unlock innovation, problem solve, future gaze and highlight the vital role technology plays in the delivery of critical public safety and justice services. The JES programme represents suppliers by creating a voice for those who are selling or looking to break into and navigate the blue light and criminal justice markets.
Prior to joining techUK, Georgie spent 4 and a half years managing a Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) in Westminster. She worked closely with the Metropolitan Police and London borough councils to prevent and reduce the impact of crime on the business community. Her work ranged from the impact of low-level street crime and anti-social behaviour on the borough, to critical incidents and violent crime.

Dora joined techUK in October 2019 as an Events Assistant, coordinating and delivering our flagship events.
Prior to joining the team, Dora worked as a Senior Events Coordinator at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors at Parliament Square managing conferences and high profile ministerial events.
