Keynote 3 - Joshua Walter, Partner, Osney Capital

The third keynote was delivered by Joshua Walter, Partner, Osney Capital

Josh provided an overview of the cyber investment landscape. Building on his keynote address at last year's event, Josh outlined the key themes on the UK ecosystem and why it's an attractive space to invest into.

While the UK has been seen behind the US and Israeli markets, the tide is changing and the UK has started to challenge this view. Josh noted that the UK is now better at competing on the world stage, due to it's academic infrastructure and the growing maturity of the ecosystem. The challenges are often due to the disconnect between the highly distributed ecosystem as structurally generalist capital can struggle to access the market.
