Event round-up: Government Property Agency Digital Capability Market Engagement event

An event round up and recording of the Government Property Agency Digital Capability Market Engagement event that took place on Tuesday 3 December.

On Tuesday 3 December we were delighted to host the Government Property Agency for a virtual Digital Capability Market Engagement Event.

The GPA’s Digital and Data Team intends to publish a number of Procurements for the provision of Specialist Digital and Data Capability Resources. The GPA would like to gain an understanding of the market’s interest for this opportunity, through engaging in discussions relating to the  high-level requirements in order to address any potential gaps prior to publication.

The contracts are intended to run for 24 months with an option to extend by up to 12 months. The indicative value range is between £45m up to £60m if extended over the full 36 months period. The intention is that commitment will be drawn down from individual Statements of Works and any stated value would be considered an upper limit.

The purpose of the event was to provide potential Suppliers with early visibility of the requirement, bidding process, and address any initial questions. The contract is also being designed to encourage Prime, SME and subcontracting partnerships.

The event posed a great opportunity for the market to input early into the standards, requirements, pricing model and measures. The session was also intended to be an opportunity for suppliers to ask questions of GPA stakeholders as well as be informed about the process and next steps.

The requirements are to be procured via the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) – Digital Outcomes Specialist (DOS 6) RM1043.8 Framework – Lot 1 – Digital Outcomes. There may be an opportunity to utilise DOS 7 where applicable.

*Suppliers who are not on the framework, but have an interest in potentially partnering with a DOS 6, Lot 1 supplier on this procurement, were also welcome to join the session.
