UK SPF Fee Structure: Join now and benefit from the discounted rate

The UK Spectrum Policy Forum (SPF) has temporarily extended the discounted fee for new large members, which can now benefit from a 25 percent reduced rate.

The move aims to draw new stakeholders and enhance the breadth of industry members on our Steering Board - which also includes DSIT, Ofcom, and the MoD.

Our Steering Board is essential for the work of the UK SPF. Our Board set our strategic direction, they elect our four Cluster Chairs and they decide on and oversee the research we commission. The Steering Board aims to meet four times a year.

For the last year, the UK SPF has offered a 25 percent discount on the first year of membership to new large members. Due to the success of this temporary discount, we have decided to extend this offer for the next year.

As a result, our fee structure remains as following:

Fee structure:

  • New large members joining the Steering Board will be able to take advantage of the one-off reduced member's fee of £7,500 p.a. + VAT if
    • A large company has not been a member for the 12 months up until 1 June 2024, and
    • The large organisation joins from 1 June 2024 to 1 June 2025. After this first year has passed, the fee will fall in line with other large member's fees, £10,000 p.a. + VAT.
  • The annual membership fee for existing large members is £10,000 p.a. + VAT.
  • The annual membership fee for SMEs* is £3,000 p.a. + VAT.

If you have any questions, including if you would like to join, please get in-touch with our team:

*We use the UK government’s definition of SMEs which encompasses micro (less than 10 employees and an annual turnover under €2 million), small (less than 50 employees and an annual turnover under €10 million) and medium-sized (less than 250 employees and an annual turnover under €50 million) businesses.
