GCHQ appoints new Chief Scientific Advisor for National Security
GCHQ Director Anne Keast-Butler today confirmed the appointment of Professor Danielle George CBE as the new Chief Scientific Adviser for National Security.
Professor Danielle George is to take up a new role as the new Chief Scientific Advisor (CSA) for National Security from 1 April for three years. The Chief Scientific Advisor plays a crucial role in providing advice and supporting delivery of science and technology (S&T) initiatives. As a member of the Government Chief Scientific Adviser’s team, the post also provides strategic advice on national security S&T in the government and the wider national security community.
