Get involved with Aspiration Digital

Aspiration Digital is a one-day digital skills conference designed to educate students on the different roles in digital and various career paths. This event welcomes all sixth form students who are interested in a career in digital - regardless of their subjects of study.

Aspiration Digital started in 2018. Five events later, they have impacted over 1,200 students, giving them a flavour of the multitude of pathways, roles and careers within the digital sector. 

The event include Daniel Priestley as headline speaker. Daniel Priestley is a successful entrepreneur who's built businesses in Australia, Singapore, and the UK. He's the co-founder of Dent Global, one of the world's top business accelerators for entrepreneurs and leaders to stand-out and scale-up. With offices in London, Sydney, Singapore and Tampa, the program is endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management. Over 500 entrepreneurs and leaders, each year participate globally in developing their businesses with the support of high net worth mentors. Daniel is the author of four best-selling books Key Person of Influence, Entrepreneur Revolution, Oversubscribed and 24 Assets.

Reflect Digital's survey of over 500 people in digital shows that 71% of people have fallen into their roles. The data shows the numbers are improving, but still for 18-25 year olds, the data still shows 60% of them falling into the industry. 67% of 18-25 year olds working in digital also stated that digital careers were never mentioned at school.

There is clearly an inspiration gap. Aspiration Digital is on a mission to change that!
