Kyndryl Foundation 2024 grant programme is open to the UK

The Kyndryl Foundation is the charitable arm of Kyndryl, the world's largest provider of IT infrastructure services, serving thousands of enterprise customers in more than 60 countries. The Kyndryl Foundation launched in 2022 and made its first grants in the fall of 2023. The purpose of the Kyndryl Foundation is to support social, environmental and other charitable initiatives where they can leverage Kyndryl’s talented workforce to make the greatest impact.

Their goal is to support a just and sustainable future for all by contributing to projects and organisations that address inequities in our societal systems. The grantmaking is currently focused in three areas: Future Forward Education, Climate Action, and Inclusive Economy.

It has added the UK to its 2024 grant programme. UK charities and not-for-profits that focus on cybersecurity and/or AI skills for under-represented learners and job seekers are now eligible to apply for grants that range from $50K (£39K approx.) to $250K+ (£195K+ approx.). More details about the grants and the application form can be found in this draft document.

Please visit the following page for the application criteria and to request an application form - https://www.kyndryl.org/us/en/grant-criteria.  The grant application window closes on Friday 11 October and the Foundation Board are planning to select grantees from a global pool in November. The successful applicants should receive the grants in early 2025.
