Supporting scaling businesses with Barclays Eagle Labs Academy

In this guest blog, Barclays are proud to introduce Eagle Labs Academy, brought to you by Barclays Eagle Labs, providing scaling firms with access to free online learning designed to support start-ups and scale-ups on their entrepreneurial journey.

You may be thinking about taking that leap to become a founder, taking your product to the next level, wanting to help your marketing team grow their skills, or you're at the exciting stage of raising capital. Eagle Labs Academy can help with all of this and more. It is free, you don’t have to be a Barclays customer and it’s available to all founders and their team to register for.

Eagle Labs has partnered with experts across the UK’s entrepreneurial ecosystem who have contributed content and inspirational founder stories, in written format and video content for you to learn in your way, at a pace that suits you.

Eagle Labs Academy ambition is to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and as we understand that diversity is the cornerstone of innovation – the more unique perspectives you have available, the more opportunities you can identify. We also recognise that more work needs to be done to create a level playing field for diverse founders in the UK. That’s why we champion inclusivity and celebrate founders who are at risk of being overlooked because of their race, gender, sexuality, disability, or neurodivergence.

Of note, in collaboration with techUK member Plexal, Barclays Eagle Labs have created a new programme, Product Builder which is designed to fit around the busy lives of budding entrepreneurs.  It offers a challenge-led approach that starts with identifying the problem and not the solution.  Along with the expertise to help develop digital products, such as website applications, mobile applications and software as a service (SaaS). This online programme will teach entrepreneurs how to develop, test and validate a digital product. This programme launched 18 November and ends 27 January 2025.
