Tech and Net Zero Conference: First Speakers Announced
techUK announces the first tranche of speakers for the October 5 Tech and Net Zero conference.
techUK are pleased to be formally announcing the second annual Tech and Net Zero Conference, taking place on the 5th of October. This year’s conference will be focused on operationalising Net Zero for tech firms, as well as looking forward to COP28, specifically the sectors’ role in decarbonising the wider economy. Last year’s event, consisting of expert panels, informed speeches from tech sector experts, and an excellent location for industry networking was a standard which we are hoping to surpass this year.

Digital tech needs to meet net zero and this conference will look at what the tech sector is doing to measure, reduce and report emissions and how digital innovation can help us reach net zero. techUK’s second Tech and Net Zero conference will hear from sector leaders, founders and innovators on how they are approaching net zero and how tech can enable net zero in the wider economy.

Craig is Associate Director for Climate, Environment and Sustainability and leads on our work in these areas ranging from climate change, ESG disclosures and due diligence, through to circular economy, business and human rights, conflict minerals and post-Brexit regulation.
Prior to joining techUK he worked in public affairs and policy has an avid interest in new and emerging technologies. Craig has a degree in Ancient History from King’s College London and spends his time watching Watford FC and holding out hope for Half Life 3.
Dora joined techUK in October 2019 as an Events Assistant, coordinating and delivering our flagship events.
Prior to joining the team, Dora worked as a Senior Events Coordinator at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors at Parliament Square managing conferences and high profile ministerial events.
