techUK celebrates success at the Self-Driving Industry Awards 2024

The techUK team was delighted to attend the Self-Driving Industry Awards 2024 in Margate, an exceptional event that highlighted the cutting-edge advancements in the automated vehicle sector. Hosted at the Turner Contemporary art gallery, the awards showcased the innovative work shaping the future of AV technology and brought together industry leaders to celebrate excellence in the field. 

Spotlight on techUK members 

We are particularly proud to congratulate our members Waymo and Oxa. Waymo for receiving the Consumer Service award, which recognised their remarkable efforts in making autonomous ride services more accessible and inclusive. At the same time Oxa was honoured in the Trust category for their dedication to prioritising safety and reliability in autonomous vehicle systems. 

These accolades are a reflection of the leadership and innovation of techUK members who are paving the way for a more inclusive and sustainable future in the AV sector.
