techUK's paper to HM Treasury on the Plan for the 10 Year Infrastructure Strategy

techUK has submitted a paper to HM Treasury outlining our views on their 10 Year Infrastructrue Strategy Working Paper, which outlines their plan for the Infrastructure Strategy.

In our paper, we welcomed the three objectives that the strategy will prioritise and the focus on infrastructure needed for digitisation and for digital transformation. However, we raised key questions how the Strategy will be governed, including around how businesses will interact with some of the frameworks proposed by HMT. We also encouraged the Strategy, when published, to explicitly refer to and plan for telecoms infrastructure, given it is of fundamental importance for the UK's economy and society.
