techUK Suppliers Procurement Survey - into Local Government

We would like to invite you to fill in this short survey if you are a supplier/vendor to the UK Public Sector.

We are keen to gather insights which can help shape the direction and policy of public sector tech procurement.

The procurement workstream part of our Local Public Services Committee aims to showcase what good looks like and to explore how procurement can become the enabler to innovation. Helping to create a level playing field and delivering procurement outcomes that deliver the best value for citizens.

Dear Survey respondent, thank you for taking the time to contribute to the key piece of research by the Tech UK Local Public Services Committee.

We ask for your help and contribution to inform and shape the direction of Public Sector procurement in the UK. I am sure we all agree how critical and central procurement is in solving many of the challenges that exist in our sector. Equally, how devastating and damaging it can be when buying, partnering and contracting goes wrong.

We want to get real anonymous (unless you are willing to share your email for follow up) answers from you to gather data and test common assumptions both suppliers and customers share in Public Sector procurement. The questions are designed to draw out some potentially challenging areas, and we very much appreciate your candour and time.

We have sent one survey to buyers across the Public Sector and have been receiving responses since early November. This second survey is being sent to several hundred sellers / vendors to the UK Public Sector. We know many of you have already expressed strong interest in taking part, so we are excited that the survey is finally ready. We anticipate a lot of interesting results when comparing the responses of buyers and vendors.

Once again, thank you for taking part, and we will share the outcomes with all of you via Tech UK in the months to come. We would also love to have your feedback on the survey, and any ideas you may have for the future - please do not hesitate to get in touch.
