This month Programme Manager for Justice & Emergency Services, Jess, reflects on techUK's annual public sector conference, Building the Smarter State. 

On the day over 200 leaders from across the public sector and tech industry to unpack challenges and opportunities for tech to enable the future of public services. Speakers and attendees from all levels of government, including public safety, contributed to the conversation that focussed on the twin themes of People and Places.
