WRC Series 2023 #ITUWRCtechUK

Every three to four years, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) convenes the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC), a critical forum for reviewing and, if necessary, revising the Radio Regulations, the international treaty governing the use of the radio-frequency spectrum. This precious resource, spanning from mobile communications to satellite navigation, underpins the very infrastructure of our interconnected world.

The WRC's decisions have a profound impact on the global telecommunications landscape, shaping the technologies and services that underpin our lives. By meticulously reviewing and refining the Radio Regulations, the WRC ensures that the radio-frequency spectrum is used optimally, enabling innovation and progress for all.

See below for our guest articles from across leading voices in the telecommunications sector.

The outcomes from WRC-23 and prospectus for WRC-27 will be a key topic for our flagship UK SPF Future Spectrum Summit. Be part of the conversation and register here.
