Why is this event interesting for UK exporters?
Our Belgian partners, the Port of Antwerp-Bruges and the Blue Cluster – the Belgian Maritime Technology cluster - have designed 4 challenges at which they seek concrete UK solutions focussing on Maritime Security. The event itself would be a half-day presentation of UK tech pitches to a Belgian audience of high-level buyers who are seeking concrete solutions in these 4 challenges.
The British Embassy in Belgium is organising the event, we have participation of FCDO and DFT. The Belgian participation is secured through the active participation of the Port and the Cluster, who will be instrumental in selecting those UK exporters they esteem are most fitting the local demand.
Where are we now:
At this moment, we are looking to generate interest from UK maritime companies with solutions in:
1. Securing port infrastructure
2. Maritime cybersecurity
3. Protection of offshore infrastructure (energy) and
4. Specific solutions for maritime communications.
