Leading technology companies, practitioners and AI ethics specialists will convene for a focused session examining AI assurance mechanisms within the justice and emergency services sector.

This specialised event features expert panel discussions and presentations exploring how tech industry practices, ethical frameworks, standards and quality assurance methodologies can be effectively adapted for AI systems deployed in emergency response and justice applications.

Industry leaders will share insights on implementing robust testing protocols, establishing accountability measures, and ensuring responsible AI development specifically tailored to the high-stakes nature of emergency and justice services.

Through panel sessions and technical presentations, participants will gain practical knowledge about sector-specific challenges including data governance in sensitive contexts, real-time system monitoring requirements, and maintaining transparency while handling confidential information.

The event provides a unique platform for technology professionals to engage with domain experts, examine current best practices, and contribute to the development of a paper focused on exploring AI assurance in justice and emergency services applications and other safety critical sectors. Special emphasis will be placed on supporting innovation with the reliability and fairness requirements essential to public safety systems.
