Harry has a passion for ethical, inclusive & data-driven product design and leads efforts within Elsevier to implement Responsible AI & Data Science Principles. They work on embedding principles of fairness, accountability, transparency, explainability & mitigation of harms into Elsevier’s data science ways of working; developing organisation-wide best practices and process for ethical use of data and technology as well as chairing the Elsevier AI Ethics Board. Dawn McAra-Hunter

Programme Manager, Scottish AI Alliance

Dawn McAra-Hunter is the Programme Manager at the Scottish AI Alliance, the body tasked with the delivery of Scotland’s national AI strategy. In her role, Dawn leads on programmes focused on realising the Strategy vision to make Scotland a leader in Trustworthy, Ethical and Inclusive AI, with particular focus on AI literacy, skills, and business support. Alongside this, Dawn is a PhD candidate at the University of the West of Scotland, where her research examines the impact of AI discourse on marginalised people, particularly the LGBTQ+ community, and has recently been published in AI and Ethics.

Dr Eleanor Drage

Senior Research Fellow, The University of Cambridge

Eleanor is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, and Co-Director of the AI: Narratives and Justice Programme. She is CO-I on the Desirable Digitalisation project and PI on the HEAT project, an AI ethics and regulation project that helps companies respond to the EU AI act. She also uses feminist and anti-racist ideas to improve society’s understanding of AI, for example, to demonstrate why AI-powered hiring tools can’t de-bias hiring, and why AI can’t make neutral predictions about which protests are likely to turn violent. This work has been covered by the BBC, Forbes, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Glamour Magazine and internationally. She has also spoken about her work on the BBC World Service, BBC Radio 3 & 4, and the Irish National Radio. She is the co-host of the award-winning The Good Robot Podcast (top 5% globally), where she interviews top scholars and technologists about AI ethics, and is a TikToker for Carole Cadwalladr’s All The Citizens’ data rights channel.

She’s the author of An Experience of the Impossible: The Planetary Humanism of European Women’s SF (Oct 2023), and co-editor of The Good Robot: Feminist Voices on the Future of Technology (Feb 2024), and Feminist AI: Critical Perspectives on Algorithms, Data and Intelligent Machines (Oct 2023). She has also worked with Google DeepMind, The Financial Times, The United Nations Data Science & Ethics Groups, CNN, BNP Paribas, The Open Data Institute (ODI), and the Institute of Science & Technology. Eleanor is a Bye-Fellow and Tutor at Gonville & Caius College.

Alfie Potter

Technical Analyst, (Enterprise Architecture & Generative AI), ITV

Alfie is a Technical Analyst on the Enterprise Architecture team at ITV, where he plays a pivotal role in integrating AI into operational workflows and supports the development of the guidelines for its ethical use. With a strong focus on project support for award-winning broadcast initiatives, he models ITV’s technology landscape, assists in strategic development, and helps establish technology governance frameworks. Alfie is also actively engaged with the IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Programme and ITV's internal innovation hub, promoting innovation across the media industry.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Alfie serves as the Deputy Chair of ITV Pride, Head of the London chapter of Out in Tech, and contributes to Intermedia, organizing impactful events for LGBTQ+ individuals in the broadcast and tech sectors. His commitment to diversity and inclusion makes him a valuable speaker on topics of AI, representation, and allyship within technology.
