Drawing insight from civil service departments tasked with sourcing technological solutions as well as well as implementing partners from the private sector, we’ll discuss lessons learned from recent Ecosystem of Trust pilots, where border agencies have collaborated with industry to test new technological capabilities and support secure simplification of customs declaration processes.

14.30 – 15.30  Session 4: Guide to working with consortia

Complex border projects almost always require working with a consortium of partners to deliver a diverse range of end-to-end solutions. This third session will discuss the realities of how ecosystems of partners are created and managed, including the challenges of managing communication channels among multiple suppliers. We’ll also provide practical guidance on how SMEs can find suitable partners to bid for public procurement contracts and participate in these consortia.
