techUK is pleased to partner with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host a roundtable on “Cross government data sharing – uncover new possibilities” set for 25 January at techUK offices in London.

It is no surprise that data sharing across public sector is a huge challenge and even in this AI-led digital age organisations use resource intensive and lengthy processes for sharing data. Government agents, analysts and service teams are unable to easily understand what data is held by other departments as a result the value of public sector data is not exploited to its full potential.

Across government data sharing requires political will and trust between the different parties involved, and a clear idea of what data needs to be shared. Above all willingness to exchange data requires an understanding of its added value for all. Government policies and legislations could encourage or discourage data sharing between public sector bodies.

Connecting and making better use of government’s data is vital to informing and improving citizen outcomes and shaping policies based on wider inputs and evaluation. Efficient and effective data sharing and collaboration across government will ultimately maximise the return on government’s investments within data and advanced AI technologies across agencies.

Join this session to:

1. Gain valuable insights into the key data collaboration and sharing trends across public sector

2. Explore current strategies, regulations and policies around data sharing and exchange across government entities

3. Exchange best practices and lessons learned from the adoption of modern data sharing and collaboration solutions across public sector agencies

4. Discuss and understand the art of the possible and use cases cross government data sharing could unlock
