Under techUK’s recently published MoU with the National Fire Chiefs’ Council (NFCC) techUK has established a forum where techUK members and DDaT representatives across fire services will convene regularly to discuss the challenges that the services face to achieving their DDaT objectives and the opportunities that technology can bring.

After significant interest from the previous session, the next meeting will focus on drones and their application in the fire services.

The use of drones in the fire service are becoming widespread due to their ability to reduce risks to frontline officers and collect data for monitoring and analysis.
