6 February 2025

Central London

9am – 5pm

Conference

Join us on 6 February in London for the Future Telecoms Conference 2025. This conference will bring together stakeholders from across the public and private sectors to set the agenda for the future of connectivity for the UK.

The event will address the investment challenges faced by telecommunications companies in the UK and Europe, focusing on market changes and the critical need to bridge the digital divide by extending reliable connectivity to underserved areas. Industry leaders and policymakers will discuss aligning industry goals with government frameworks, fostering innovation through strategic investments, overcoming regulatory hurdles, and supporting the transition to next-generation of broadband technologies.

While initiatives like the Gigabit Programme and Shared Rural Network have advanced connectivity through collaboration among government, regulators, and industry, significant challenges remain in ensuring resilient, high-quality access for all. Drawing insights from other sectors, keynote speakers and panellists will explore the role of private network rollouts in supporting Critical National Infrastructure and advancing Net Zero and social goals, emphasizing the need for streamlined policies and licensing to sustain growth and resilience across telecommunications.

With the new government agenda of economic growth at the forefront of activity, digital connectivity and its role as an enabler has never been more important. Whilst the UK has invested in digital infrastructure to drive growth, close the digital divide and empower communities, what comes next? Our conference will explore across the day a range of topics including:

  • Sustainable investment in 5G and innovation in Telecoms
  • Seamless connectivity across the UK
  • Regulating for network growth
  • Cross-sector collaboration and private networks

Set to include perspectives from industry experts, government officials, and key stakeholders, this conference will seek to highlight the successes that have so far marked digital infrastructure rollout, but also consider the main challenges for the rest of the decade and beyond, laying the groundwork for further public and private sector collaboration. Together we will be able to identify, prepare for, and respond to the main challenges that lie ahead.

Attendees will gain insight across keynote speeches, thought-provoking panels and presentations as well as interactive breakout sessions across the day.
