techUK is pleased to be hosting HMRC for an online-only Big Data & Analytics Core & Intelligence Pre-Market Engagement session, taking place on 1 July from 11:00 - 12:30.

HMRC Data Platform Services are running 2 sourcing procurements called Core and Intelligence under the CCS Big Data and Analytics framework Lot 1. Core will be for 4 years and have a total contract value of £345m.  Intelligence will also run for 4 years with a total contract value of £245m. The 2 procurements will consolidate activities that were previously competed under procurements run under the Big Data & Analytics Framework in 2023.

Core will consolidate HMRC’s requirements for the Platform and Data Management & Acquisition capabilities whilst Intelligence will consolidate the Advanced Analytics & Cognitive, Data Risking, Reporting & Dashboarding and Search & Discovery Services capabilities.  Current agreements will continue in order that work placed under them can be completed or transition to new agreements.

This market engagement session aims to provide potential suppliers with the details of the 2 opportunities, their technical requirements and the commercial timelines proposed for the procurements. The session is open to any supplier, however the supplier bidding or leading a bid must be pre-qualified in one of the Big Data & Analytics Frameworks Lot 1 Capabilities. It is the bidding suppliers choice whether they wish to partner/sub-contract with suitable suppliers to be able to deliver the full scope of the ITT requirement.

HMRC will send out the Technical specification, scenarios and case studies to registered participants ahead of the session on 1 July so that suppliers will be able to review these, ask questions and provide feedback at the session prior to the release of the procurement ITTs.

If you would like to attend, please make sure to book your place.
