Join techUK’s Focus Group on Connected and Automated Mobility Integration
1pm – 4pm16 January 2025
Central London
techUK, 10 St Bride Street, London, EC4A 4AD
techUK invites its members to participate in the first focus group of an exciting new research project exploring the integration of Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) into multi-modal transport and urban systems. This project, delivered in partnership with Frazer-Nash Consultancy, aims to identify the critical infrastructure, connectivity, and policy changes needed to support CAM technologies.
This focus group will build on our initial literature review, which examined the current state of digital and telecoms infrastructure across highways, railways, and urban mobility networks. During this session, we will discuss the specific needs of the CAM sector, including connectivity challenges, data-sharing practices, and operational requirements. Participants will have the chance to contribute their expertise and collaborate with peers to help shape recommendations that will guide the next stage of the project.
This event is ideal for techUK members involved in transport technology, data-sharing, or policy development, as well as those with a broader interest in the deployment of CAM systems in the UK. Attendance will provide a valuable opportunity to influence the direction of this research and ensure that industry priorities are reflected in techUK’s final recommendations.
The session will also set the stage for future discussions on the changes needed to enable CAM deployment. Attendees will play a key role in shaping this narrative, which will culminate in a final report to be presented in March 2025.
Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to register your attendance by Wednesday, 15th January 2025. For further information or questions, please contact Filip Kolodziejski at [email protected].
We look forward to welcoming you to this important conversation about the future of CAM integration in the UK.
