This event is free to attend for public sector and techUK members

Attend techUK’s inaugural Local Public Services Innovation Summit where we will convene local authorities with tech industry on what more needs to be done to harness innovation and create a catalyst for change for the sector. It will also be an opportunity to showcase good practise and facilitate greater collaboration between councils and industry.

It will also be a year on since techUK published its Local Public Services Innovation report, which outlined how local public services can grasp the innovation opportunity and maximise the benefits they derive from digital technologies and their suppliers. We will review how many recommendations have been taken forward and what more needs to be done to seize the opportunities and meet the challenges that lie ahead.

Digital innovation in local government does not exist in a bubble and no one supplier can solve a challenge. Collaboration is key. The Summit will address what a good ecosystem looks like and how it can drive innovation within the local government market. Attendees of the event will also have the chance to partner and identify new business partners in an informal ‘speed dating’ style after the lunch break. If you would like to be participate in the partnering speed dating event please email [email protected]

Public sector and industry will hear how we rethink models of service delivery and reimagine the council of the future.

The Summit will be taking place during techUK’s Local Public Services Innovation week where we will be inviting members and stakeholders to contribute guest blogs and videos showcasing the art of the possible. If you’d like to contribute some thought leadership to the week, please get in touch with the techUK team.

The event is free for techUK members and public sector.
