Yiannis Maos – Founder & CEO at Birmingham Tech

Birmingham Tech is a leading community initiative that helps innovative, next-generation tech companies scale-up, nurturing a collaborative environment that has generated great success. Having been named Central England’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Outstanding Tech Individual of the Year respectively, Yiannis has been invited to speak at many major events held by global tech giants including Google, Hubspot and Salesforce.

Cliff Dennett – Head of Business Development at Bruntwood SciTech

Head of Business Development at Bruntwood SciTech, a leading business innovation and commercial real estate provider, Cliff is responsible for the commercial development of leading Life Sciences and Digital Technology Science Parks across the United Kingdom. A highly experienced professional with a wealth of expertise in the tech sector, Cliff has previously worked for leading global names including Orange, AT&T, HP, Lego and Morgan Stanley. He has also delivered keynote speeches around the world on the application of gaming tech for serious uses for companies including IBM and the United Nations.

Clare Golby – Business Development Manager at Kagool

Clare Golby is Business Development Manager at Kagool, a leading global data and analytics specialist headquartered in Coventry, UK. The business is rapidly growing and has opened international offices in India and the US. Clare has 16 years of experience working in IT Data and Operations during her time at Galliford Try, while she also holds a number of key roles at Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council. Part of the West Midlands delegation that travelled to North America for the Queens Baton Relay, Clare played a important role amplifying the talent and opportunities the region has to offer on the global stage.

Gordon Wilson - Chief Executive Officer at Advanced

Since joining Advanced in September 2015, Gordon has led the successful transformation of Advanced driving a people-centric approach to achieving sustainable and responsible business growth.

Having secured the largest software investment deal in the last decade with BC Partners and Vista Equity Partners in 2019, Gordon has led Advanced through an ambitions phase of growth and acquisition. He takes pride in enabling customers to adopt a digital first mindset by empowering people with the technology and tools to do their job with a strong social and environmental conscious.

Gordon sits on the board of techUK and is a member of the Confederation of British Industry South East Council. He is passionate about, and instrumental in driving the diversity and inclusion agenda at Advanced and throughout the wider industry.

Mike Lewis – Sector Lead: Creative, Digital & Tech at West Midlands Growth Company

Sector Lead at West Midlands Growth Company, Mike Lewis has held commercial leadership roles in the tech, telecoms, mobile and digital sectors for over thirty years with both blue-chip enterprises and start-up ventures. He has also been responsible for leading the launch of innovative new products and business models and scaling fast-growth businesses in fields as diverse as IoT, 5G, Fintech and the Cloud.
