techUK and NCC Group is delighted to invite senior leaders to join them in Manchester for a breakfast and roundtable discussion to inform the UK Government-commissioned McPartland Review. This discussion is aimed at senior business leaders across industries with oversight of their organisations’ cybersecurity programmes and/or investment decisions.

The UK Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden and Technology Secretary Michelle Donelan have commissioned Rt Hon Stephen McPartland MP to lead an independent review looking at cyber security as an enabler to build trust, resilience and unleash growth across the UK economy.

NCC Group and techUK has been asked to host a roundtable in Central Manchester to gather views from senior business leaders to input into the Review. This will inform the Government’s approach to supporting businesses to enhance their cyber security and enable a safer environment for conducting business in the UK.

The roundtable – which will be led by Review Chair Stephen McPartland – will explore questions such as:

  • What are organisations’ main barriers or challenges to digitising faster and more securely?
  • How can enhanced cyber resilience be used as a competitive advantage or source of innovation, demonstrating clear return on investment?
  • To what extent does the open market correctly respond in the pricing of finance or insurance policies to account for cyber risk?
  • How do organisations ensure the compliance and alignment of their cyber security standards and practices with the international norms and regulations?

To register your interest in attending this roundtable, please click here or email [email protected] by Wednesday 3rd April.

We are operating this event on a first-come-first-served basis and will be in touch to confirm whether you have a space or not as quickly as we can.

PLEASE NOTE: If we’re unable to offer you a place at this roundtable discussion due to capacity, or you’re not a senior leader in your organisation, there are other opportunities to engage and input to the McPartland Review, including through techUK and/or we would also encourage you to submit your own response to the Call for Evidence.
