This briefing will provide an exclusive opportunity for industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to gain insights into the CMA's recent joint statement on competition in generative AI foundation models and AI products. This briefing aims to foster understanding and dialogue around the implications of the statement for the tech industry, focusing on how to maintain fair, open, and competitive markets.

  • Contextualise the new international statement by the European Commission, The UK CMA, The US Department of Justice and the US Federal Trade Commission on Gen AI.
  • Bring together stakeholders from multiple groups to increase familiarity with and discuss international cooperation on this issue. 
  • Provide an opportunity for DMCC issues to be raised and discussed.
