As UK, EU, and global sustainability regulations kick in, firms must conduct materiality and so-called "double materiality" assessments, where they must understand not only how a business may be impacted by external factors but also how the firm impacts external stakeholders and the environment. This can be a major piece of work for firms, and for tech firms, there are particular complexities. In this webinar, we will introduce members to concepts and strategies on how to conduct such assessments, and an in-depth case study from Intel on their double materiality approach. The goal is to help members understand how others are approaching this and to provide examples of how this can be done.

  • Agenda:
    • 3:00pm - 3:05pm  Welcome and introductions
    • 3:05pm - 3:30pm  What is materiality, why does it matter and how to undertake one - Nicolas Heath, ERM
    • 3:30pm - 4:00pm  Case study and practical walkthrough: How Intel prepared their double materiality assessment - Paula Williams, Intel
    • 4:00pm - 4:30pm  Member discussion and Q&A
