In the 3 years since launching, Tech Zero has become one of the UK’s largest tech movements committed to climate action, helping hundreds of tech companies to understand net zero, operate more sustainably, and collaborate to drive change. Now, we’re making it bigger and better than ever, and you’re invited to help us accelerate climate action in the tech industry.

On the 1st and 2nd of July, we’re holding the first-ever Tech Zero Hackathon, supported by Kraken Tech.

This 2-day hackathon will bring together developers, designers, and magic-makers to work on real-life sustainability problems in tech. You’ll be provided with the tools, APIs, guidance and freedom to work on software or hardware solutions that could improve both your business and your climate impact. And yes, there will be prizes - including a mini grant to develop the winning idea.

This invitation is open to up to 2 people from any tech-based organisation who would like to take part. The only thing they’ll need is knowledge of Python.

We’d love as many companies as possible to join us, but spaces are limited. If you’d like to join, let us know what you’d want to create in the hackathon! We’ll assess the entries based on your ideas. (If you don’t have one just yet, that’s ok, you can still sign up to register your interest)
