techUK/DCMS Roundtable - Call for views on software resilience and security for organisations and businesses
2pm – 4pm6 March 2023
London and Online
techUK, 10 St Bride Street, London, EC4A 4AD
On Monday 6 March, techUK is delighted to be hosting DCMS for a roundtable with members on its upcoming Call for Views on software resilience and security for organisations and businesses. The Call for Views outlines the government’s framework for identifying cyber risks linked to software across its lifecycle from development to distribution and use, and seeks feedback on a range of potential policy options to address these risks.
Through the Call for Views DCMS aims to better understand where to prioritise any support available to software customers, distributors and developers and the digital environments they operate in order to boost organisational resilience across the UK.
The Call for Views will also seek input to understand how the government can support companies to mitigate risks linked to software, where that support should be prioritised with regard to the numerous industry players, and how to support industry in its own initiatives to improve organisational resilience.
This briefing and open discussion with members will help the government to formulate its response to the Call for Views, and will help inform the future direction it should take in this area.
If you would like to participate in this roundtable discussion, please book your place now.
