As part of our UK-APAC Tech Forum Series and London Tech Week, techUK is pleased to hold a UK-Vietnam Tech Workshop, bringing together UK tech leaders and a delegation of software and fintech companies from Vietnam. The event will take place on 14th June, 4:00pm-6:30pm, in-person at techUK's Office - 10 St Bride Street, London, EC4A 4AD. The workshop will highlight the tech opportunities in both the UK and Vietnam, and feature several companies showcasing what they do, followed by an interactive Q&A session, and networking. Why Vietnam? As tech companies diversify their manufacturing, many hardware companies have been moving their operations to Vietnam - resulting in enormous opportunities for UK tech firms. In terms of its digital economy, Vietnam's digital economy is set for compound annual growth of 8.9 per cent between 2022 and 2026, the fastest of any of 51 countries surveyed in the Financial Times-Omdia Digital Economies Index. The event will also feature His Excellency Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Vietnamese Ambassador to the UK.
