The Government recently published a new white paper, ‘Joining up care for people, places and populations’, aiming to bring together the NHS and local government to jointly deliver for local communities, cut back on bureaucracy and introduce a single person accountable for delivery of a shared plan at a local level.

You can read our summary of the White Paper here

The Government has invited views on several questions to support progress on the effective implementation of these proposals.

techUK will be holding this workshop to gather member views and inform our response on the following questions pertaining to the Digital and data section of the White Paper:

  • What are the key challenges and opportunities in taking forward the policies set out in this paper, and what examples of advanced or good practice are there that could help?
  • How do we best ensure that all individuals and groups can take advantage of improvements in technology and how do we support this?

Please come prepared to share your views on the above questions.
