As a part of techUK's Tech Together Campaign during Women's History Month, we are pleased to invite you to join an inspiring Women in Tech panel discussion featuring leading voices from the industry.

Our esteemed panellists will share insights and strategies for success in the tech sector, offering invaluable perspectives on breaking barriers, fostering inclusivity, and enhancing support systems to cultivate a more diverse talent pool to empower women in technology.

For technology to be truly inclusive, it must be created by a workforce (data and teams) that reflects the diversity of the society it serves. Currently, this is not always the case, leading to some products that inadvertently reinforce privilege and biases. During this session, the panel will discuss the critical next steps needed to effectively address these issues.

We must collectively address issues such as the potential biases in promotions and hiring decisions. In addition, role models play a crucial role in promoting diversity and inclusivity in STEM fields by providing mentorship and sharing experiences with underrepresented groups. Supporting male allies in challenging unconscious bias and stereotypes is essential for creating a better workplace environment for everyone. We will use this event as an opportunity to highlight examples of best practice across the sector that can be taken forward by others.

While this event is a celebration of women in digital ethics, we are keen to have everyone join us. Supporting the progression of women needs all, and we would be delighted to have allies at the event.
