Following the publication of the AI Opportunities Action Plan, DSIT is developing a programme of work to support an AI ecosystem which encourages economic growth and a fair transition for workers – including supporting organisations seeking to be transparent when deploying workplace technologies. They have developed a toolkit which aims to cover what information should be presented to workers before, and during, the adoption of AI tools in the workplace. This will support businesses to realise the opportunities of AI while, offering clarity to employers on navigating the identified risks of workplace AI technology.
To ensure this work is fit for purpose, DSIT is running a workshop with TechUK to gain feedback on the viability and utility of the toolkit from the perspective of employers and organisations who are adopting AI in the workplace.
