Deputy Managing Director, Cellnex UK
Alfonso has worked for Cellnex Telecom for over 20 years and played an active role in the international expansion of the Group, with previous roles as Corporate Director of Telecom Infrastructure Services and Deputy Managing Director in Cellnex Italy. He joined Cellnex UK in 2019, with a clear focus on organic growth and business diversification around telecom infrastructure for mobile operators, big corporations and public bodies.
Alfonso holds a MSc in Telecom Engineering from University of Vigo (Galicia, Spain) and several diplomas from IESE and UNED in Economics and Finance.

Andrew Conway (Andy) is Director of Solutions & Innovation at Boldyn Networks, a global leading provider of shared network infrastructure.
Andrew is an industry expert in wireless cellular networks with three decades’ experience in designing next generation networks.
At Boldyn Networks, Andrew was accountable for the technical solution proposal for the TfL project and more recently the Sunderland Smart City case. He describes his current role as bringing the possibility of innovative next generation technology to life, for everyone.
Andy is Chair of the tech UK Communications Infrastructure & Services Council.

Sue leads techUK's Technology and Innovation work at techUK.
This includes work programmes on cloud, data protection, data analytics, AI, digital ethics, Digital Identity and Internet of Things as well as emerging and transformative technologies and innovation policy. She has been recognised as one of the most influential people in UK tech by Computer Weekly's UKtech50 Longlist and in 2021 was inducted into the Computer Weekly Most Influential Women in UK Tech Hall of Fame. A key influencer in driving forward the data agenda in the UK Sue is co-chair of the UK government's National Data Strategy Forum. As well as being recognised in the UK's Big Data 100 and the Global Top 100 Data Visionaries for 2020 Sue has also been shortlisted for the Milton Keynes Women Leaders Awards and was a judge for the Loebner Prize in AI. In addition to being a regular industry speaker on issues including AI ethics, data protection and cyber security, Sue was recently a judge for the UK Tech 50 and is a regular judge of the annual UK Cloud Awards.

Tom is the CEO of Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV), a company considering new approaches to solving some of the toughest challenges facing aerospace today. HAV’s aircraft Airlander can take off and land from virtually any flat surface and offers a powerful combination of flexibility, persistence, payload capacity, and efficiency. They’re building a development pathway that leads to zero-carbon flight without compromising capability.
Tom joined HAV in 2013 from BAE Systems, where his experience covered a range of senior engineering and programme leadership roles in the development and delivery of new products and services. Tom was the Head of Business Management for BAE Systems' Tornado Availability Support Service, was Assistant Chief Engineer in BAE Systems' unmanned aircraft development business.

New Mobility Lead, Uber
Rebecca leads New Mobility for the UK, responsible for incorporating and growing new modes of shared transport in the Uber app. Since 2019, Uber has been expanding the number of transport modes available within the app, including, in 2022, launching Train ticketing. This is part of Uber’s vision to enable seamless multimodal travel, making more efficient use of finite capacity on our transport networks through increasing the uptake of shared, sustainable travel. Prior to this, Rebecca led Uber’s work on sustainability. Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Spot Ship
James is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Spot Ship, a SAAS platform bringing the world of ship broking into the 21st Century. The company makes use of next generation computer vision and machine learning algorithms to channel data into a robust cloud SQL database. A broker using Spot Ship can fix a charter in minutes, as opposed to the days required with incumbent technology. Optimal ship selection through the platform is expected to cut 90Mt of CO2 emissions annually.
Prior to Spot Ship James spent six years as an investment analyst at the equity hedge funds Orbis and RWC, before leading the partnerships function at the unicorn Improbable.
James holds an INSEAD MBA, an MA degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge and a CFA designation.

Ben Loewenstein is the European affairs lead at Waymo, the Alphabet-owned company operating the world's first fully autonomous ride-hailing service in several cities across the U.S. In his role, Ben works with governments across the region developing autonomous mobility and technology policy. His background in consultancy in Europe and his home country of Australia. Prior to joining Waymo, he was a Senior Director for Public Affairs at a global advisory firm, working with clients on wide-ranging policy issues including AI, mobility and the future of work.

Jamie is the Account Director for external partners at Network Rail Telecom (NRT) and has worked at Network Rail for over three years. He has previously held roles at Quickline Communications and Boundless, both of wish are altnets in Northern England.
Jamie came into telecoms through working at DCMS and was a BDUK Project Director for three years following a spell working on the Olympics.

Director for Roads Development, National Highways
Dr Joanna White is the Acting Director for Roads Development at National Highways leading a division focussed on intelligent transport systems (ITS), energy and road design. The Division is responsible for setting and updating standards, providing technical assurance, advice and leading research and innovation activities.
Following her PhD in Mathematics where she developed mathematical models for traffic networks, Jo started her career in 1999 at TRL working as a Researcher. One of her first projects was to demonstrate how mobile phone data could be used to produce information about movements on transport networks and undertook. 6 years later she joined the Highways Agency as a Senior ITS Engineer in the Traffic and Travel Systems Group.
She led the M42 Active Traffic Management Monitoring, investigated how smart motorways and ramp metering could operate together and set up the ITS Radar service. Jo was promoted in 2007 to the Team Leader of the Technology Programme Performance team, responsible for overseeing the business’s £250m Technology Programme. She took a couple of years out to have children and then changed roles in April 2012 to lead the National Operational Systems team, looking after all the systems that the Traffic Officers use to manage traffic and incidents.
In 2014 she returned to the standards and research part of the organisation leading the Intelligent Transport Systems group. She led teams who develop and maintain standards for operational technology, improve operational systems and research future vehicle technology. This included delivering successful connected and automated vehicle trials in collaboration with industry partners to inform the connected services roadmap, one of the elements of the Digital Roads vision. In February 2020, she became a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Engineering and Technology. This has been an excellent foundation for her to step up to lead the Roads Development Division.
Jo is also a member of the Editorial Board for Transport + Energy, the Expert Advisory Panel for the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, RoadSafe’s Traffic Technology Thinktank, and she is the Chair of Bristol University’s Department of Engineering Maths Industrial Advisory Board.
