Overview

Our third annual Tech and Net Zero Conference will take place on 16 October

16 October 2024

Central London

9am – 6pm

Conference

Join us on 16 October in London for the 2024 Tech and Net Zero conference. This conference looks at how the tech sector is approaching net zero and delivering net zero elsewhere.

With a new government putting clean energy and green technologies at the front of the agenda, this conference will look at how policy and regulation can support tech firms in delivering net zero elsewhere, as well as help firms understand what a new government means for their own net zero journey. We also expect to hear from government on the role they see digital technologies in helping the UK get to net zero.

The full day conference is free for techUK members and has panels and breakouts looking at:

  • UK climate leadership and advice for the new government
  • The role of digital tech in delivering net zero and growth
  • Green digital skills
  • The techUK net zero plan for tech firms
  • How can policy unlock finance and help scale up new climate tech
  • The net zero business census
  • ISSB and UK disclosure rules in the next government
  • The climate and AI challenges
  • WWF x techUK: The role of tech in sustainable trade
  • Supporting the UK’s resilience and adaptation via digital tech
  • The tech sector approach to carbon markets and offsetting
