New Member Referral Scheme

Eligibility:

• The referral scheme ("Scheme") is open to all current members of techUK ("Association").

• The Scheme is open to all Association members that are not in resignation.

• Members may refer prospective new members ("Referred Members") to join the Association.  

• The Scheme does not apply if Referred Members have already filled out a membership enquiry form for techUK membership in the six months before the referral is made.

• If the referred company has already been referred to techUK by another member company in the last six months, or techUK has been in active conversation directly with the prospective member before the referral, then the reward is not payable. We operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Referral Process:

• Referrals must be made to [email protected] in writing and include an introduction to the Referred Member.

• The Association is not responsible for unreceived referrals due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the referrer.

• Referred Members must complete the application process and meet the membership criteria set by the Association for the referrer to be eligible for the referral reward.

• For the referrer to qualify for the referral reward, the Referred Member must join techUK within six months of the referral email at which point it becomes void.

Referral Rewards and Redemption:

• *Referrers will receive a discount to the value of £350 for a successful qualifying referral.

• **There are no limits to the number of referrals a company can make but the discounts will only be applied to the value of the referrer’s membership fee in the next year and cannot be carried over.

• Discounts will only be issued when the Referred Member has joined techUK and the payment has been received.

• The reward is only given in recognition of the Referred Member joining techUK and will be not recurring if the Referred Member decides to renew for any subsequent years.

• Discounts can only be applied to the next year of membership for the Referrer after the new member has joined.

• No cash or gift to the value of the discount will be offered.

• The value and type of the referral reward are subject to change at the Association's discretion.

Fraudulent Activity:

• Any fraudulent activity or misuse of the referral scheme, including providing false information, will result in disqualification from the scheme.

• The Association reserves the right to withhold or cancel referral rewards if fraudulent activity is suspected.

Modification or Termination:

• The Association reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral scheme at any time without prior notice.

• Any changes to the Scheme will be communicated to participants through website updates and email communications.

Compliance with Association Rules:

• This Referral Scheme and these Referral Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and in any event of a conflict between the Referral Scheme and these Referral Terms & Conditions, then these terms & conditions will supersede and take precedence.

• Participants must comply with all the rules, bylaws, and regulations of the Association in connection with their participation in the Scheme.

• In the event of a dispute, the decision of techUK is final.
